TURCHENKO ULYANA
ULYANA TURCHENKO was born in 1980 in Lviv (Ukraine).
She studied in Lviv at the Artistic School of Oleksa Novakivskyi.
In 2002 she graduated from the Ivan Trush Lviv State College of Decorative and Fine Arts.
In 2010, together with her husband, she launched a private lithographic studio in Lviv (Ukraine).
Since 2014 she has been living and working in Poland in her private lithographic studio "Shalimov Lithography".
In 2016 she was a consultant and lecturer for the stone lithography in Jilin College of the Art , China.
2019 - Finalist «Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize» Traditional Art, /Australia/.
2020 - 2nd place in the Surrealism category, «American Art Awards».
Ulyana creates in the technique of stone lithography, drawing and painting. The works are made in the style of symbolism and fantastic realism with surreal motives. The works are filled with a mixture of mythological symbols, poetic forms and fantastic characters.
